About Kara
MEET KARA WHITTINGTON
Kara gave up her life in the big city of Houston, to pursue a life that was more in alignment with where her heart was. Kara spent 20 years in Real Estate in Houston Texas. She sold her house in Texas, bought a Poultry farm in Mississippi and now the Homestead Event Venue. She currently enjoys her animals, selling poultry farms and and serving the community in whatever way she can.

The Setting
Homestead Whittington Farm is a southern-style home, circa 1950, that is situated on a manicured estate lawn that is edged by magnificent mature live oak trees. The surrounding property offers the opportunity for country walks. Wildlife, birds, and a quiet country setting abounds, yet, the property offers easy access to town, situated within two (2) miles of downtown Brookhaven.
